Answer: No, this product should only be used on the sides of the sandal to prevent cracking and splitting of the cork. It should not be used on the footbed. -

Answer: I'm not familiar with the original Barge cement glue. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 25 years and have always been happy with the cork sealant. -

Answer: No, that was not right. The sealant should only be applied to the cork on the outside of the shoe. Never apply it on the footbed. -
