Are they standard? Can I use them on my Matador bongos?
Answer: I could not put them on my Matador bongos. The real skin heads have this lip on them, and the Evans do not have that. Unless people are giving it the Superman push, they won't go past the top of the rim. -

Is it a pair, 7 1/4 and 8 5/8 or a single 9 5/8 or what?
Answer: It is a pair 7 1/4 and 8 5/8. -
Question:
Will these fit the LP accents bongos? Same size heads.
Answer: As long as they are the same size they should fit. -
Question:
Can I leave it fully tuned?
Answer: Sure. Just like any plastic head. Intense heat or cold will affect it, but certainly nowhere near as much as a skin head. -
Question:
Are these waterproof?
Answer: I don't believe so. Most likely OK if water spills on them if wiped away fairly quickly. -
Question:
Do these fit LP aspire bongos?
Answer: Not sure, they fit perfect on my LP Matador. -
Question:
Are the diameters measured from the outmost (metal?) edge of the rim? or from top edge of playing surface?
Answer: Top edge of. For instance, the congas or of the bongos, the guinto conga is only 11 inches or conga drum is 11 3 quarters on top not including the outside of the rim the tumba is usually 12 inch.

The Evans Tri-Center Bongo Drum Head comes in a pair of 7 1/4 and 8 5/8 inches. These heads are made of plastic and can be left fully tuned. Although they are not waterproof, they can handle light spills and can be wiped clean. It is important to note that these heads do not have the same lip as real skin heads, making them incompatible with some bongo models. This product works perfectly with LP Matador bongos.
