Will this julienne carrots?
Answer: I purchased this tool to specifically julienne carrots at my restaurant. Most tools are not sharp enough or strong enough for hard root vegetables but this tool was, however it does NOT produce a true julienned carrot. It is more like thin ribbons no matter how hard pressed. I don't think the blades are deep enough to produce a julienned product. It does make nice decorative thin ribbons for salads. -
