Answer: Having had both M7 models I found the optics very comparable as is the quality of the overall construction/materials. So, not a big improvement. -

Answer: M7 has locking diopter adjustment knob, a feature usually only seen in models costing much more. Better FOV: M7 - 362 ft., Monarch 7 - 351 ft. -
Question:
Can both eyes be focused independently?
Answer: You can focus right eye independently. Center focus does left eye and then controls both eyes. Some WP binoculars have true Independant but not really necessary.
