Grandstream Landline Phones Editorial Review

The Grandstream DP722 DECT cordless HD handset is a powerful and easy-to-configure SIP phone. Although it has a reasonable range and good ergonomics, it only allows usage of one SIP server in all "profiles" even though each "profile" allows input of individual or different servers. It also has issues with the 24hr time format and MM/DD/YYYY, reverting to factory 12hr-DD/MM/YYYY with every save. The customer had high expectations for the handset, but the Panasonic KX-TG4771 worked better for them with better sound quality and ear comfort. On the other hand, the DP722 has excellent sound quality, and the volume is much louder than others the customer has tried. They also enjoy being able to plug their iPhone headphones into the headset connector when they need to. While the headset connector is on the bottom, this customer plans to purchase another for the bedroom.
