The textured milling pattern on the board is subtle, so for a perfectly smooth finish, the board needs to be sanded down. The board can be cut using a normal woodworking tool such as a skill saw with a fine-tooth blade. It can be glued to wood with two-part epoxy, but before that, the edge of the UHMW should be oxidized using a torch. However, this is not ideal for heat molding and other options such as ABS are better suited to this application. The product is shipped quickly, and customers have received it as advertised.
