Customer Questions & Answers

  • Question: What is the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader used for?

Answer: The Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader is a surfactant specifically designed to enhance the adhesion of pesticides and herbicides to plant foliage. By reducing surface tension, it allows these chemicals to spread and stick more effectively, improving their efficacy. This product is particularly useful when applying treatments in conditions where moisture retention is crucial, such as during hot or dry weather. Farmers and gardeners alike often integrate sticker spreaders into their application routines to ensure maximum absorption and effectiveness of their plant care products.
  • Question: How do you use the Southern Ag Sticker Spreader?

Answer: To use the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader effectively, mix it with your desired pesticide or herbicide according to the manufacturer's instructions. Generally, add it to the sprayer tank before introducing the chemical. This ensures a uniform mix and optimal performance. Consider using it during application to leafy plants, where texture and surface areas may hinder adhesion. Many users find it beneficial when maintaining gardens or agricultural crops, especially in varying climates where adhesion is key to treatment success.
  • Question: Is the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader safe for all plants?

Answer: The Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader is generally safe for most plants when used according to label instructions. However, it's always advisable to conduct a patch test on a small plant area first. Some sensitive plants may react differently, particularly if mixed with certain chemicals. Understanding your specific plant types and their responses is crucial. Gardeners often find this product very effective for common crops and ornamentals, but checking compatibility can save potential damage.
  • Question: What is the best time to apply the Southern Ag Sticker Spreader?

Answer: The optimal time to apply the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader is during the early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler. This timing helps ensure that the spreader works most effectively by preventing rapid evaporation of the applied chemicals. Additionally, avoid applying before heavy rain, as this can wash away treatments. Using it in conjunction with pest treatments during peak pest activity times maximizes its benefits, ensuring that plants are adequately protected.
  • Question: Can I mix the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader with any pesticide?

Answer: The Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader can be mixed with many types of pesticides, but it is essential to reference the labels of both products for compatibility. Some pesticides may have specific instructions regarding surfactants. Generally, mixing it with contact herbicides or systemic insecticides enhances their effectiveness. Users often report significant improvements in pest control when combining this spreader with their go-to treatments, leading to better plant health and yield.
  • Question: How much Southern Ag Sticker Spreader should I use?

Answer: The recommended usage of the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader can vary based on the pesticide being applied, but it typically ranges from 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of spray solution. Always consult the specific pesticide label for precise mixing ratios. Utilizing the correct amount is critical to achieving the desired adhesion without causing potential phytotoxicity. Many agricultural professionals adjust quantities based on environmental conditions and target pests to optimize performance.
  • Question: Is the Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader biodegradable?

Answer: The Southern Ag 12102 Sticker Spreader is not strictly biodegradable; however, it is formulated to be environmentally friendly when used as directed. Its surfactant properties serve to enhance pesticide effectiveness with minimal environmental impact. Users frequently appreciate its demeanor in maintaining ecological balance on farms or gardens, ensuring safer pest control measures while being conscious of their surroundings.
