- The Heavy Duty Residential Dual Solar Swing Gate Opener Kit (TDS2XP) is a great fit for driveway gates that have up to a 24 foot gate opening. The Heavy Duty Solar Gate Opener Series is designed to automate gates that are up to 900 pounds or 20 feet in length (keeping in mind the 24 foot gate opening) and are fast, quiet, and easy to install within a few hours. This dual solar gate opener kit includes Two (2) Gate Opener Arms, the first arm with 6' Cable and the second arm has a 32’ cable, 10 Watt Monocrystalline Solar Panel Kit, System Control Box with Controller, Mounting Brackets and Fasteners, Two (2) AXS1 Standard 3-Button Remote Transmitters, Two (2) sets of AXTB Tube Gate Brackets, and Installation Manual. Battery Harness, Two (2) Warning Placards, and an 18-month warranty with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on Motor and Gear Assembly. REQUIRES a 12V Automotive or Marine type battery or Ghost Controls® ABBT2 Battery Box Kit with two 12V, 7amp batteries (sold separately). All Ghost Controls® battery-powered gate openers are solar compatible and you can add up to 30-watts of solar to them. For a solar-powered remote gate opener, we recommend a deep-cycle marine battery. Ghost Controls® automatic gate openers for residential driveway swing gates are designed specifically for single-family tube, decorative, ornamental, wood, chain-link type gates but are Not intended for use on solid-panel gates. Safe Force is a unique feature of all Ghost Controls® gate opener systems. This feature automatically limits the amount of force that the automatic opener system will exert on a moving gate to prevent injuries to people or animals. Our UL325 7th Edition Standard compliant technology makes photo beams optional.
