svar: I think 30 litre bag would be too small for this bin. -

svar: Yes, there is a facility to keep the lid open. You can push the lid bin in an upright position and it will stay open until it is pushed back down again. -

svar: Depends on how nimble your cat is. The pedal requires quite a firm press, but the lid has a very nice slow close. With practice, the cat might still be able to manage it. -

svar: No, the bin liners sit tightly in the bin. Works really well - expensive but would definitely recommend. -

svar: When using the foot pedal to open the bin, it goes to roughly 75 degrees. But if you lift the top section as if you were going to change the bag, then it opens to about 85 degrees. Either way, it's not really restricted access. -

svar: Yes, I presume so, but I have only used custom. We buy the fit-for-purpose liners, there are 20 in a pack, and two packs in an order, so on the basis of using approximately 1 a week, it keeps the bin extremely clean and tidy. Highly recommend.
