svar: I've used these like a survey meter, moving them from place place in the house looking for places with the most humidity and lowest temperatures. They respond quite quick and seem to have an acceptable level of accuracy -

Can this be mounted on a wall nail?
svar: It doesnt come with fittings to mount on a wall, it has a little fold-out stand and it has magnets. If you have any metal in the walls you can stick it to that, that's what I've done and they've stayed stuck fast. -

svar: I can't see why not, they have a fold-out stand but also a magnetic backing. They do also work knocked over so could be placed inside a door scuttle. -

svar: If you look at the back you will find a very small switch, located between the two metal sensors. This small switch allows you to activate ‘on/off, F, C’. Very small but easy to change the settings with your finger nail. -

svar: I’ve noticed that from time to time the wet, dry, ok indicators disappear, but the humidity% reading still shows. After a few minutes the indicators usually reappear of their own accord without me changing batteries or anything. -

svar: You will have to give more info on how you're using it before someone can give an answer. They are for use on a shelf or fixed to a metallic surface with the magnet on the back, if you're using on the ground near wet soil, then it will probably develop a fault. -

svar: No. They can be a little hard to read in the evening but they’re discreet enough to have them in a fairly prominent location. I find mine very useful. -

svar: It means the humidity is high in the room it's placed. Dry means dry and OK means perfect :)
