The Exaco Juwel Austrian Compost Bin, a 77 gallon composter is a durable, reliable and easy to piece together composter that sits on the ground. The bottom of the bin is open and it comes with a soil grate/grid for the bottom. The height of the bin is 42.9. Although it does not have a platform to elevate the bin, the bin can be elevated by other means if needed. The bin is made of heavy plastic and users have not had any problems with critters getting into it. The product does not come with a nozzle or a basin to collect the liquid. The small doors on the sides of the bin can open up, and some users have had difficulty turning the compost over and recommend a turning composter. The Exaco website can be visited for parts ordering.
