The LED boat trailer lights are an affordable product that is easy to install and very bright. Customers seem to have mixed experiences with these lights. Some buyers had issues with water leaking into the housing and shorting out the LEDs after submersion in water. These lights are not submersible, and they are not designed for use in water. It is essential to seal them properly to prevent water intrusion. The mounting hardware is not stainless steel and can rust after a few uses in the water. The LED lights are bright and are suitable for use on boat trailers. The lights do not include mounting studs or nuts, and no bolts are included in the package. They have slots in the back where the bolts can be slid in to mount them to the surface. One buyer reported that after one year of use, the lens of one light came off on the road, and without a replacement, the entire tail light fixture would have to be replaced. It is recommended to buy a set of lights that are submersible and have a fastener for the lens.
