Just make sure your hose has that button to hold it in place because it won't stay on with a friction type hose.

The bristles are also quite soft, causing them to flatten and scrape along the floor with any amount of weight or pressure. Overall, it is a decent tool for vacuuming hard floors, but not as effective as the original attachment that came with the NuTone.
