svar: If I understand you right this only includes the four rails that make up the adapter. The base rails I already had mounted in my truck bed were from a previous different brand hitch I had. -

svar: It only comes with the adaptor (4 pieces) to attach to the rails already on my truck bed. It will raise your hitch by 3-4 inches as well. -

I have a ram 1500 6-1/2 ft. bed, do i need this adaptor? or, can i just mount my sg hitch to the bed rails?
svar: The bed on the new Dodge are very deep. My truck had the built in attachment point for a hitch so I needed the adapter for my truck which helped raise the king pin for better clearance. You can attach it to the rails directly if you don’t need the clearance. 2016 ram 2500 4x4. -

svar: We have a 2018 GMC Sierra HD 2500 Denali and this has worked perfect along with Pullrite part 4444. And then of course you can make adjustments to your kingpin box on the fifth wheel itself.
