spørgsmål:
What are System 96 6inch White Glass Squares used for?
svar: System 96 6-inch White Glass Squares are predominantly used for glass fusing projects, specifically in kiln work. Their smooth surface and quality composition allow for a variety of applications, including creating stunning decorative pieces, jewelry, and functional art. Crafters often utilize these squares as a base layer to build on, allowing for creative freedom in design. These squares are popular for both beginners and seasoned artists due to their versatility. -
spørgsmål:
Are System 96 Glass Squares compatible with all glass fusing techniques?
svar: Yes, System 96 Glass Squares are compatible with various glass fusing techniques including tack fusing, full fusing, and slumping. This adaptability makes them a preferred choice among artists. Understanding different techniques allows users to experiment and create unique patterns and effects. Whether you're layering colors or creating textured pieces, these squares provide an excellent medium for all kinds of fusing endeavors. -
spørgsmål:
How thick are the System 96 6inch White Glass Squares?
svar: These squares typically have a thickness of 6mm. This thickness strikes a balance that allows for effective fusing while maintaining structural integrity. When heated in a kiln, this thickness enables the glass to melt evenly and smoothly, making it ideal for a range of projects. Therefore, artists appreciate this characteristic for achieving consistent results across various applications. -
spørgsmål:
Can I use System 96 White Glass Squares for outdoor projects?
svar: While System 96 Glass Squares are designed for kiln fusing, they are not inherently weather-resistant for outdoor use. For outdoor projects, it’s advisable to apply an additional protective coating or ensure they are used in a sheltered environment. Understanding the limitations of the material helps in making informed decisions, ensuring your creations maintain their beauty and longevity. -
spørgsmål:
What colors are available in the System 96 Glass Squares range?
svar: The System 96 line offers a versatile palette of colors beyond just white. You can find vibrant hues, transparent, and opaque options. This variety allows for endless creative possibilities, enabling artists to mix and match colors to achieve a specific aesthetic or mood in their fusing projects. Exploring different colors can enhance the visual appeal of glass art pieces. -
spørgsmål:
How can I cut System 96 Glass Squares if needed?
svar: Cutting System 96 Glass Squares can be done using glass cutting tools, such as a glass cutter or tile cutter, with proper technique. A straight score across the glass followed by a snap can yield precise cuts. It’s important to wear protective gear while cutting and to follow safety guidelines. Cutting allows for customization and can help you create pieces of specific shapes required for your design. -
spørgsmål:
What temperature do I need to fuse System 96 Glass Squares?
svar: To fuse System 96 Glass Squares, the glass generally needs to be heated to around 1400°F to 1500°F in a kiln. This temperature range allows for full fusing, where the glass completely melts and integrates into a single piece. It is vital to monitor temperature closely and utilize a kiln with accurate controls, ensuring optimal results in your glass crafting. -
spørgsmål:
Can I use System 96 Glass Squares with other types of glass?
svar: While System 96 Glass Squares can be combined with other compatible System 96 glass types, it’s crucial to avoid mixing with glasses from other coefficients, as this could lead to cracking or incompatibility issues. Sticking to a single glass coefficient ensures the finished product is durable and maintains integrity during the firing process, making it essential for a successful craft experience. -
spørgsmål:
Are the System 96 Glass Squares safe for food use?
svar: System 96 Glass Squares are not recommended for direct food use unless they are specifically treated or coated for that purpose. Their primary function is to be used for artistic projects rather than functional dinnerware. That said, they can be used in decorative pieces that may adorn food-serving areas, emphasizing the beauty without direct food contact. -

Delphi Glass Fusible Glass Supplies Editorial Review
In reviewing the customer experience surrounding this white glass product, it becomes evident that the feedback is decidedly mixed. On the one hand, there are instances of satisfaction where customers commend the product for its quality and functionality. One user explicitly stated their happiness with the product, indicating it met their expectations for use in crafting or projects. However, this positivity stands in stark contrast to the experiences of other customers who encountered significant issues. A critical complaint highlighted the arrival of three glass pieces with chips on the edges, suggesting a quality control problem rather than a shipping mishap. Even more concerning is the lack of response from the manufacturer, Binari Glass, when the customer sought assistance regarding the damaged items. This lack of customer service left the individual with no option but to use flawed products, resulting in wasted materials and a frustrating experience. Concerns regarding compatibility between different glass types—specifically that the white glass shrank differently when fired with black glass—further emphasize inConsistencies in product performance. Overall, while some customers are pleased with the glass, the serious quality control issues and inadequate customer service overshadow these positive experiences, leading to a polarized reception of the product. **
