It does not support moving coil cartridges or have the required gain for low-output Moving Coil cartridges. Unfortunately, the software registration process is no longer available due to the company going out of business. Overall, the ART USB Phono Plus functions well as a preamp and converter, but it may not meet the needs of those using moving coil cartridges or requiring higher gain levels.
