One minor inconvenience reported by users is that when using the docking station with a Nintendo Switch, the USB encoder board needs to be plugged in every time the Console is turned on. This can be frustrating but is a small price to pay for the coolness factor of the product. Another issue mentioned is the inConsistency in board detection when docked. Some users have experienced trouble getting the board to be recognized by the Switch, requiring multiple attempts of plugging and unplugging the USB.
