However, it may not cover a large house of 3800 square feet or more unless paired with a Mesh type Wifi Network, which is what the Eero is designed for. Also, it is advised that one does not use a wifi extender as it reduces wifi speeds in half. On the Synology RT6600ax, it is always advisable to get the best speed through a wired connection, especially since the router usually comes with a built-in switch. If one does not use wifi, it is best to get a cheaper wired router, which will still have 10/100/1000 ports capable of handling speeds of up to 1 Gigabit. The device can sometimes throttle connection to 1.5mbps down, and in such a scenario, it is advisable to check the traffic control. Additionally, the issue of Constant "camera offline" when using Nest cameras can be resolved by using an MR2200 mesh add-on for extended coverage.
