The COMP Cams 7815-16 High Energy 7.725" and 8.684" Long, 3/8" Diameter Pushrod Set is an excellent choice for those looking for stock replacement pushrods. They work well with flat tappet 454 BBC engines and aluminum heads. However, they may not be suitable for moderate/wild/forced induction/power adder applications. Customers have reported that the pushrods appear identical, straight, and clean but they are not one-piece and hardened. Some customers received incorrect pushrods or pushrods that were bent or used. Therefore, it is important to double-check their diameter and length before purchasing them. Additionally, the appropriate push rod guide plates need to be purchased as these pushrods will not work with stock 5/16" guideplates.
