Users can adjust the angle of the holder and it can be used in a vertical or horizontal position. The cradle has a padded leatherette finish to prevent headphone scratches and marring caused by the clamp. The headphone holder can hold various types of headphones including the Astro headset. It provides ample space to hold even large-sized headphones. The clamp is made of plastic and the curved holder is soft fabric. If you loosen the screw, you can adjust the distance between the top clamp surface and the screw surface. A user has shared that they were successful with mounting the holder on their glass table by using pieces of cardboard to provide a snug fit. However, the clamp should not be mounted on a microphone stand as it was designed to be used on flat surfaces.
