Orange Heads MT20 Editorial Review

The Orange Micro Terror 20W Amplifier Head is a versatile and powerful amp in a compact size. It is solid state and does not require a cab to play, making it convenient for headphone practice. However, it is recommended to use a speaker or mic the cab for better sound quality. The amp has one channel with volume and gain controls that determine the amount of grit. It is suitable for small venues and can be used with a microphone for larger indoor spaces. The amp does not have a footswitch jack, but it does have a headphone and speaker output jack. Customer reception of the Orange Micro Terror has been largely positive. Many customers have praised its versatility and the ability to create various sounds without the need for additional pedals. It is described as a great practice amp and is highly recommended for purchase. However, there are also a few negative reviews. Some customers feel that the amp is not worth the money, as it produces a hissing and buzzing sound. One customer compared it to running a guitar through a distortion box and a car stereo amplifier. Additionally, some customers experienced hum and hiss when using certain power supplies for additional pedals, but this issue was resolved by using a different power supply. Overall, the Orange Micro Terror 20W Amplifier Head offers a unique and British sound in a compact package. It is praised for its versatility and convenience, making it a great choice for practice and small venues.
