They can be used with any "walkman" or mobile/smartphone. Tips from Sony fit this model. The chord short circuits due to repetitive bending to fit into the square shape leather case, which causes internal wire damage. The lack of a 5 or 10-year manufacturers warranty is a criticism, especially given the high price point. Wrapping layers with heavy-duty electrical tape could be a solution to chord damage. The built quality is outstanding, but these headphones are on the expensive side. These headphones receive mixed reviews, but some find them to be a clear standout in the market.
